Coutts & Associates Inc. was founded by Peter Coutts in 2001, who recognized a need for more personalized service in the property management industry. As Peter puts it, "big is not necessarily better!" Peter is proud to provide clients with a team that works hand-in-hand to ensure communication and solution-based management remain top priority.
Coutts & Associates Inc., works alongside independently owned and operated JET Contracting Inc., for seamless maintenance of its properties. JET allows us to ensure costs and availability of service are better controlled. We've found this integrated strategy has proven to be a win-win for management, tenants, and owners/boards.

Peter's more than 40 years experience in real estate and property management lends greatly to the portfolio behind Coutts & Associates Inc. Peter maintains his internationally recognized designation of CSM (Certified Shopping Centre Manager), in addition to his Alberta Real Estate License and numerous other certificates. His passion is developing management strategies for maximizing property value.

Edward (Ted) Coutts is our Senior Licensed Property Manager. In addition to managing several properties, Edward's role includes preparing annual budgets, collection of fees, and preparing properties for sale. Edward also independently owns JET Contracting Inc., which oversees most of our property maintenance. In Peter's absence, Edward is in charge of day-to-day operations.

Victoria Coutts, Unlicensed Real Estate Assistant & Co-Owner
Stephanie Coutts joined our company is 2011. In addition to her role as Lead Manager for four condo conversions, Stephanie oversees the leasing of suites, rent collection, maintenance requests, and dispute resolution. We are grateful to have Stephanie on our team as a reliable and knowledgeable manager. She is our go-to when it comes to the Condominium and Residential Tenancy Acts.

Victoria "Vicki" Coutts is co-owner of Coutts & Associates. She is an unlicensed real estate assistant and property management accountant. She easily fills in as a back-up manager and has a long history working in property management and real estate.

Peggy Yanew is one of our amazing daily administrators responsible for bank deposits, daily accounts, and pretty much all day-to-day office requirements. At times, Peggy will slide-in to cover for our active property managers. She is a valued asset to our clients and our business!

Lindsay Roy, Unlicensed Property Assistant
Lindsay Roy is one of our unlicensed property assistants for single-family and residential projects. Lindsay has been part of the Coutts brand for more than 12 years, and is the liaison between head office and on-site personnel to ensure proper guidelines are followed. Lindsay also provides accounting for our projects.
